Client Description
Our client, a leader in the field of healthcare management, is now presenting an excellent opportunity for a strategy & planning expert to enhance the strategy development for its key business division.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the CEO, you will focus on strategy for business transformation; identify and implement high performance business value creation and transformation opportunities by delivering independent strategic and general management consulting services focused on the CEO agenda. You will also shape and lead programs that translate results from business diagnosis and planning into transformation programs/projects.
Such programs will encompass identifying and prioritizing value creation opportunities based on assessment activities and an understanding of business visions, performance gaps, and needs; translating and conveying such needs into tangible business solution architecture; shaping and leading business architecture transformational programs; monitoring and managing target value and performance goals (e.g., strategic and operations) and ensuring planned business outcomes are achieved, adjusting programs if necessary.
In addition, you will establish collaborative networks with regulators & policy partners for the formulation of healthcare policies as well as researchers/research institutions locally and internationally to enhance quality of research and data collection. You will also act as liaison point for all official overseas contacts.
Other accountabilities include assessing and managing risk throughout all aspects of the business solution implementation; leveraging the full range of appropriate client and in-house resources in designing strategies; guiding program team through development and execution of stakeholder communications strategy; managing major proposal and business development efforts, determining project resource mix and overall expenditure plan as well as interpreting changes in the business environment and potential program impact.
Skills Requirements
You should have a good honours degree, preferably also an MBA with a minimum of 5 years in a consulting and/or an industry position with significant experience creating business cases, evaluating financial performance, creating valuation models as well as performing market and competitive assessments. Some experience in the healthcare industry is ideal, though not necessary. Experience in managing high-value relationships and C-level communications as well as knowledge of a wide range of Strategy offerings, including IT strategy is a definite plus.

In addition, you must be astute, dynamic & resourceful, with the ability to pose intelligent & probing questions to add impetus to the thinking process as well as have the gravitas to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
